Xamarin (C# app for Windows, iOS, Android)
Создаем Android виртуальное устройство (AVD) в Visual Studio 2017

Чтобы запустить Xamarin приложение на эмуляторе нужно предварительно устанавливать хотя бы одно
Android виртуальное устройство
(Android Virtual Device или AVD).
Android виртуальное устройство
будет иметь характеристики реального гаджета: диагональ дисплея, объем SD-карты, плотность пикселей и другие параметры.
Чтобы создать
Android виртуальное устройство
нужно открыть Visual Studio 2017
Нажимаем в меню:
Tools → Android → Android Emulator Manager
Нажимаем кнопку Create
Заполняем
Нажимаем OK и видим наше устройство "MyAndroidEmul" добавилось
