Let's write a server application websocket

Step 1. Open Visual Studio Code

If you do not have Visual Studio Code installed you need to install Visual Studio Code ...

Open Visual Studio Code

Step 2. Create a new folder D:/websocket_server

Создаем новую папку websocket_server и
открываем эту папку в Visual Studio Code

Step 3. Create a new file server.js inside Visual Studio Code

Добавим код в

файл server.js

Нажмем в меню File → Save

Step 4. Installing the package websocket to do this, run the command npm install ws

Step 5. Run the program in debugging

Ставим breakpoint красный кружок на строчке 3 и на строчке 8

Запускаем программу в отладке

увидим что сработал breakpointна строчке 3

нажмем кнопку F5 чтобы программа продолжила работать

Let's write a client application websocket

Создадим новый файл

D:/client.html

и запустим в google chrome

Увидим что сработал breakpoint на сервере websocket
