Entity Framework (EF5, EF6) for working with a C database#
 При вызове EntityFramework\Update-Database появляется ошибка "Your startup project '...' doesn't reference Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore.Design"

При выполнении в Package Manager Console:
EntityFramework\Update-Database

Возникает ошибка:
Error: Both Entity Framework Core and Entity Framework 6 are installed. The Entity Framework Core tools are running. Use 'EntityFramework\Update-Database' for Entity Framework 6.
Your startup project 'YourProjectName...' doesn't reference Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore.Design. This package is required for the Entity Framework Core Tools to work. Ensure your startup project is correct, install the package, and try again.
Решение
1) сделать активным проект с миграцией (мышкой на проекте нажать set active project)

2) Закрыть Solution и закрыть Visual Studio

3) Открыть Visual Studio и открыть solution

4) В Package Manager Console выполнить:
EntityFramework\Update-Database
